Im posting my thoeries and my opinion bases on facts. If you don't see im for HD-DVD off those posts, thats not my problem. All your doing is ranting on and on how you hate MS, and im the one not saying anything. It really does sound like fanboy ranting, every post is how Sony's PS3 is better. GIVE IT A REST you're just attacking my post because it's not in favor of Sony and that's a fact. PS3 is better are you happy now, don't ever! respond to my post again.

It sounds stupid when people say that PS3 is truly next-gen just because PS3 has Blu-ray in it, it's not worth another word.

All the stuff you guys are say is just fanboy opinions like you said, i can say the same for PS3 games but its pointless.

It means MS was wise not to buy into Blu-ray.

HP, a member of the Blu-ray Disk Association and an outspoken defender of the format, has asked the BDA to add features that are currently slated for HD DVD. You should check out my theory on HD-DVD in the thread (Japanese Developers Talk New Consoles #29 & 29.1)

HD DVD delivers all the capacity necessary for all sorts of recorded content, including movies and live performances. There are two kinds of single-sided HD DVD discs for content playback: the 15GB single-layer disc, and the dual-layer disc with double the capacity, a full 30GB. Using the latest compression technologies, the 30GB disc can store up to 8 hours* of 1,125-line HD images. Today's DVD has a capacity of 4.7GB and can contain 2 hours of 525-line standard definition (SD) images; the 3...

I think your anti American and thats why you hate MS so much, at first i thought it was just your tast in games but now i know you go out of your way to talk down MS no matter what!, your opinion on games, PS3, and MS is weird!/stupid. PS's are known to have very pretty CGI but piss poor ingame graphics and gameplay so dont try it. You clearly like Japanese style/influenced games over American style games. Do me a favor and STFU, i thought you were smart but your just a fucin kid that reads a...

Are you from Hungry? thats a cool accent in not being funny. PC/360 don't make it an 360 exclusive. It does when people don't want to spend $3000/$5000 on a PC, nice try though. Are you a really smart European kid? or just European with too much belief in Sonys products, its a passion with you, my friends and I watch you on a big screen LCD and they can't wait to see what you post when the come over.

I don't think we've seen the knockout blow for HD-DVD, even though the Paramount and Warner announcements have taken quite a bit of wind out of the sails of HD-DVD."
I believe HD-DVD will still have an edge, given that products using this format and HD-DVD's are currently are on store shelves before Blu-ray-based hardware. "I think if they are able to show a 30 percent price advantage over Blu-ray products, [HD-DVD], in my view, still has a good chance to keep their format...

To achieve that enormous capacity, Blu-ray's pits are not only tinier but also the disc's recording layer is much closer to the disc surface. Although HD-DVD's potential capacity is significantly less than Blu-ray's staggering 50 GB capability, HD-DVD has one large advantage. Replicators (the manufacturers of the actual high-def discs) can economically put HD DVDs into production with only minor modifications to existing DVD pressing machinery. Blu-ray, on the other hand, requires totally new...
